Maneuvering the Waves...
As I find myself continuing my journey of discovery, transformation, and finding more joy – I reflect on the summer, maneuvering the waves, and taking in the sunshine.
How often do we set unrealistic expectations?
Do we lack the courage to make necessary or desired changes?
I continue to ponder …
“what are these life pivots sharing with me?”
“what really matters?”
“what is my gut, my heart, the universe telling me?”
As the summer ends, the time spent at the beach mesmerized by the ocean waves, I have taken careful time to pause and reflect; ensuring I am enjoying each ordinary and sometimes extraordinary experiences that have come my way. AND I have learned to appreciate both.
Waves remind me to keep in the flow. Life is an ebb of ups and downs. Progress is not linear. How do we overcome the tumultuous waters; PAUSE during the calm of the storms; coast others.
Do you find life like this? High tides. Low tides. Learning to let go, making necessary pivots, and finding a flow. You don’t judge the waves. You observe, swim, float, linger, continue to breathe with each swell. The ocean is a reminder of WHAT IS.
YES. You can overcome the strong currents, the thunderous waves, and dive as needed!!!
As we begin a new season, what have you learned this summer? How have you, maneuvered the waves, taken in the sunshine? Paused. Where do you find yourself exploring, letting go, flowing, dreaming, and maybe enjoying the currents?
As the summer comes to a close, how can you continue to maneuver your waves and manifest your dreams. Fall is a great time to reset, refine and define. What are your aspirations for the next several months? What really matters now? What changes are you looking to make?
Take the awareness you acquired this summer – how can you make it work to help you grow. Is there anything you need to accept? Continue to take the steps to make the changes to be joyful and grateful. This is a friendly reminder - life is like riding the waves. We accept the ups and downs, we maneuver the waves, and we learn to come up for air. I hope you are discovering that just maybe, you are right where you need to be.

What would I have managed better?
What am I grateful for?
Am I practicing being present in the moment?
What am I learning about myself? Maybe others.
Am I showing up as my authentic self?
What changes am I a looking and willing to make now?
Where can I give back, be more compassionate, judge less, accept more?
Consider self-care, sleep, diet, exercise, spirituality, habits, setting boundaries.
Where do I need to connect more? Family. Friends. Neighbors. Peers.
Where can I manage stress/anxiety better?
Establish small goals. Write them down. Use the ABC Plan.

share it with an accountability partner
ask for help where needed, remove any self judgement, give grace and compassion
and take time to celebrate the small wins
It is not always about the outcome. Enjoy the experience. It is your journey. And BE confident YOU are right where YOU need to be! PRESENT and JOYFUL.
